From the library I will borrow the newest and best books for children matching their age and interest. Because of my experience with books for children I know which books are most appreciated by children. And which books are most helpful to improve the reading of children who are behind with reading.
And for children from group 3 and higher, I will borrow books from the library that match the reading level of the child every week. To encourage the reading but it is also a preparation for the higher groups. The child will get used to the habit of a new book from me every week and it will make the step smaller to get used to make homework from group 4 on. Because the child is getting used to read a book every week and it has to be finished before the next time I come.
I have a special membership from the library by which I am allowed to borrow 20 books and keep them for indefinite time.
Next to that I bought and collected many books for children over the years. So many that it became a little library itself. From my own library I will also select books to lend to the child.
