I can help to improve the confidence of children in Dutch language and Mathematics.

I am working especially on the weaker points to improve but also on the strengths of children. That is very important in my opinion!

I am coming to your place in Amstelveen, Uithoorn, Aalsmeer and Amsterdam.

What you can expect

You can expect from me that I am working with your child for one, – one and a half – or two hours.

In the Dutch education system a big part of the math is about language. 

Reading and understanding is very important for that. That’s the reason I am also working on arithmetic exercises with children. Especially the story sums which are often asked on the tests at school. 

I am working especially on the weaker points to improve but I won’t forget to work on the strengths of children. Working on the strengths of children give them more confidence! 

Before every lesson I make a plan what I am going to work on in the lessons and afterwards I will give feedback about the lesson to the parents. For each lesson I am supplying materials matching to the group of the child. I will print out the materials but for really big documents I will ask the parents to print it out.

I can speak English well also with the parents in order to communicate clearly (to prevent problems in communication).

About me

After I finished my foundation course Sportmarketing in 2013, I discovered that it is my passion and biggest talent to work with children who are learning Dutch language as second language at school. 

During these eleven years I developed myself in working with many children from different countries and ages. The youngest children I am working with are 2 years old and the oldest are 10 years old. 

I am specialized in working with toddlers and children from group 1 & 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
